62nd Annual Michigan Water Color Society Traveling Show

Location: Artcenter Traverse City, 720 S Elmwood Ave

A special opening reception for the public will be held Thursday, August 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Artcenter.

The show consists of thirty watermedia paintings from the 62nd MWCS Annual Exhibition including all award winners and selected pieces by juror Matthew Daub. They represent a complete cross-section of styles and techniques and showcase the talent of many Michigan artists. The exhibition is part of a statewide tour.

The mission of the Michigan Water Color Society is to promote a stronger awareness and interest in watercolor; to maintain high standards; and to further education in the contemporary arts.

Artcenter gallery hours are Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
