Organizers of the highly successful Traverse City Film Festival are planning a second event this winter to help make you smile: a new Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival.  The new festival -- brainchild of Film Festival founder Michael Moore and Emmy-winning comedian/producer Jeff Garlin of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" -- will feature nationally-known comedians in live performances, improvisational comedy sketches, films and other events at several venues, including the State Theatre, the City Opera House and Old Town Playhouse.  For more information, contact Deb Lake at the Film Festival office at (231) 392-1134 or deb@traversecityfilmfestival.org.
